VINTAGE BUILDING TOY RING – different colors available

I couldn’t find one specific name for these retro construction toys that were passed down to us from previous generations. I did some digging, asked around, but all I could find was more different names for the same mysterious disc-shaped building toy!

Some examples: Interconnecting Flowers, rainbow snowflakes, connecting discs, interlocking flakes, stick flowers, daisy shaped construction toys, Galt Octons, Deelie Bobbers, dis-kit flowers, Snap Together Disc toys, Brain flakes, bouwschijfjes, discos, steckblumen, disques de construction, flocons de neige arc-en-ciel, etc…

As to when they were invented or most played with I’m also none the wiser! I remember playing with them myself (and I’m a 90’s kid!) but they seemed to have been popular in the 80’s, 70’s and maybe even the 60’s!

Anyways, now they’ve turned into a statement ring!
